Bio

 

In December of 2012, Amanda made her New York City debut in The Little Orchestra Society's production of Victor Herbert's "Babes in Toyland." She went on to play the role of Traci in a new work, “Pageant Princess: The Musical” at the Emerging Artist’s Theater: Notes From a Page-New Works Series. A frequent featured soloist, she has performed with the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra and the Packard Band. She has headlined at performing arts venues and festivals, including Lake Chautauqua's "Floating Stage" and the Washington, DC Italian Festival. Some of Amanda's favorite roles include Marian in The Music Man, Rona in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Babette in Beauty and the Beast and The Baker's Wife in Into the Woods. Other notable credits include leading roles in La Boheme, The Elixer of Love, The Gondoliers, Crazy for You, Bye Bye Birdie and The King and I.  Amanda is a former Miss Ohio and won a talent award at Miss America 2005. As Miss Ohio, Amanda embarked on a statewide speaking tour championing quality arts education and afterschool programming for at-risk youth.
