Just back from directing Fantasticks for Infinity Theatre company. Recent recordings of Foreverman and Lilly for new composers Reading of Robin Hood by Martin Charnin and Thomas Meehan. Top of The Heap at Gallery Players. Tina Marie is under a development deal for a musical she conceived entitled Chasing Rainbows which is intended for a Broadway Opening in 2013/ 2014. Old Globe in San Diego has expressed interest and is backing the project. Stay tunes for more news!

 

Tina Marie to appear in NYMF 2008

Tina Marie will reprise her role as Aurora in "That Other Woman's Child" at NYMF 2008. Tina Marie originated Aurora in Chattanooga State Rep's production in 2004, and is excited to be a part of the NYMF production. "That Other Woman's Child" is a bluegrass musical with book by Sherry Landrum and score by George Clinton, the Hollywood composer who composed the scores for all the Austin Powers movies. National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts names Tina Marie "National Theatre Panelist"

Tina Marie has been chosen by the NFAA to be the musical theatre panelist for the NFAA youngARTS program. Each year, talented students receive up to $10,000 and the chance to be named a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. Alumni include actress and recording artist Vanessa Williams, dancer/choreographer Desmond Richardson, recording artist Josh Groban, New York Philharmonic guest solo violinist Jennifer Koh, jazz trumpet player Roy Hargrove, Broadway actors Ron Eldard and Raul Esparza, writer Allegra Goodman and visual artists DougAitken and John Currin. Tina Marie is thrilled and honored to be joining the panel of this prestigious program. More details about the NFAA here.

Tina Marie Assistant Directs at NYMF, 2007

Tina Marie is Assistant Director and Vocal Coach for "Angry Young Teenage Girl Gang" at this year's New York Musical Theatre Festival. GIRL GANG is part of NYMF as a Partner Event, and will be performed at the Atlantic 2 in Chelsea. Performance dates are September 22nd - 30th. More info here.

Tina Marie is the Witch in "Into the Woods" at the Arrow Rock Lyceum
